Sue DeHart is the program director at GROW Mayfair. She considers it a privilege to serve and partner with the GROW ESL community - both the fabulous, volunteer teachers and their motivated, hard-working students. Sue delights to bring her God-given enthusiasm and grace - as well as the wisdom gained from four decades of teaching and administrative experience - to this beautiful international community. Sue and her wonderful husband Jonathan love the outdoors - hiking, tandem-biking, running, gardening, and opening their hearts and home to neighbors and friends in the greater Philadelphia area. They also treasure time with their 3 adult children, their 2 spouses, and 3 grandchildren.

Isabelle (Izzy) is the program director at GROW Bustleton. She joined the program in January 2022 and has enjoyed learning more about the immigrant community in Philadelphia. Her desire is to help families reach their goals, and her favorite thing to do at GROW is connect with students at Conversation Cafes. In her spare time, Izzy enjoys painting, calligraphy, and spending time with her husband Charlie. Together, they enjoy playing tennis at the local park and visiting the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Jessiye assists with site administration on Wednesday evenings at the Mayfair location. She joined GROW in February 2022 with a desire to serve her local community in addition to serving in the classroom. Jessiye was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States when she was eleven years old. She can relate to the cultural challenges and language barriers that our students face as she herself learned English as a second language and had to adapt to a new country. Jessiye enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sightseeing and exploring new adventures.

Chuck has been teaching Level 1 students since 2014. He has been assisting with site administration since the fall of 2019. Chuck is retired and enjoys cycling, reading and working on his house.
